Checklist for release engineer Ensure latest hypersonic database script is moved to portal
Ensure that data sources are directed to hypersonic database in portal/conf/context.xml
Ensure release date , functionalities are updated in welcome page
Ensure portal port is set to 8080
Ensure all the tests in test suite are passed
Ensure that hypersonic database script is created with initial data before shipping
Delete log files from portal/logs directory
Ensure menus in Liferay are correct and portals works fine
Ensure document , scripts , schema are shipped along with portal
Ensure change log is updated
Ensure version/date etc are updated in Installation guide
Ensure manual smoke test is done against portal
Ensure a News item is added after a file release
